Dear [Forename] ,
I mentioned this in the last newletter but the dates of the workshops have changed so I'm repeating the invitation.
We are looking for residents of the Wantage and Grove areas, users of local NHS services, and representatives of local voluntary groups to help shape potential future services at Wantage Community Hospital.
You can either take part in one of the sessions listed below, or fill in the online survey. Visit https://bit.ly/3tcr866 for more information.
There will also be a drop in session with people present to help you complete the survey or answer questions on Saturday 28th October - 10am - 4pm at the Beacon.
If you have any questions please contact: communityservicesfeedback@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk
Other Matters
As you may have noticed I have been asked to vacate my space in the Herald so you won't find my column any more. The Regional Editor explained that they have decided to stop publishing some of the guest contributed columns as the feedback is readers want more local news. I wish the journalists lots of luck filling the space. I'm just starting to enjoy not having to write 400 words and getting a day back in my week. I hope to spend some time getting our website up to date soon.
The Wantage and Grove Active Travel (WAGAT) Group are asking for the local community’s views on the current state of infrastructure for walking, wheeling and cycling in the area, as well as current preferences for transport use on local journeys and hopes for the future. Click here to take part in the survey.
The Newbury Street Patient Group AGM will take place on 16th November at 7.30pm. We hope that it will be held in the new waiting room at the Surgery on Mably Way so it should be a good opportunity to see the new building without needing an appointment!
That's enough for now.
Thanks for reading.
Best wishes
Julie
