Our AGM for 2020 had been planned for May 22nd, when it was to be held in conjunction with a public meeting
attended by our new MP, the Leader of the District Council and a representative from the County Council. As a result
of the coronavirus lockdown this meeting could not of course take place.
Together with most people we did not expect that this situation would last indefinitely, so hoped that we would
be able to rearrange the meeting after two or three months. However, it has now become clear that there is no
realistic prospect of holding a public meeting before the New Year.
The Committee, which has continued to meet remotely, has therefore regretfully decided that the 2020 AGM has to
be cancelled. It looks forward to being able to hold one in 2021.
The Campaign Group's accounts for 2019/20 are available here [PDF] for information. Formal accounts will be
submitted to the 2021 AGM.
